Requirement Reporting

Test Case Coverage

(star)  If you create test cases for your requirements and you want to track how many of them were created, in which statuses they are you can use Panel Filter Result [old] to show them on issue level:

It is possible to create several panels with different search criteria. For more examples see Requirement Work chapter.

(star) In other hand you can see global statistics on dashboard. One gadget is called 'Issue Statistics' (pointing to filter with TCT and to Requirement CF) second is 'Pie Chart' (with similar configuration):

(star) One step further is to use 'Two Dimensional Statistics' to show which requirement has test cases in given components:

You can use any other stat-able field to show requirement's test cases for:

  • project
  • versions
  • labels
  • status
  • reporter
  • assignee
  • resolution
  • component
  • ...any stat-able custom field.

Here is another example with labels:

Make sure that custom field that keeps relationship between issue (Issue Link Field [old]) uses Statable Text Searcher.

Test Plan Progress

(star) Tracking progress of Test Plans under given Requirement can be done on issue level using Panel Filter Result [old]:

It is possible to create several panels with different search criteria. For more examples see Requirement Work chapter.

In version 1.2 there will be additional progress custom fields to aggregate info on Requirement issue level. They could be used on gadgets and filters.

(star) Use "Filter Result" gadget to show Test Plan progress for a bunch of Requirements (depending on your filter criteria). Here is example result for all Test Plans in version 1.0 for Requirements in project Online Store:

To track resolution time of Test Plans select corresponding gadget:

Requirements Verification Against Defects

(star) Some Defects can point to Requirements mistakes, inconsistency, etc. You can track bugs on Requirement (issue level):

Columns and filter criteria (as for all Panel Filter Result [old]) are customizable via filter. So it is possible for example to show only > Critical and unresolved defects or only for given version and environment.
