Field Mapping Templates

  • Field mapping templates help you to create predefined set of fields that can be used on Contract (IssueSYNC 1.x.x). 
  • Templates are NOT bind to contract field mapping, so you can edit "contract field mapping" and "field mapping templates" independent. That is why we call it "template" rather than "scheme".
  • For example, if you have 3 similar development projects, all those projects have probably the same set of fields for bugs. You can create single "field mapping template" and use it during contract creation.
  • In order to create new template click Add Field Mapping Template button. 
    • First you need to set the name of the template.
    • Next you have to add fields and local fields names. Local field name is the alias of the field which shows in remote instance.
