This field is created automatically by the plugin.

It is technical field to store data about related, remote issue status. 

This customfield is neccessary for status synchronization.The plugin doesn't synchronize status directly, because to do that you need to create mapping between JIRA workflows, which may be overwhelming if you try to set only partial status synchronization.

This custom field can be added by JIRA administrator. It is used to show remote issue status.

Because there can be many contracts related to given issue (for example in broadcast scenario when issue created in one system is sent to many other JIRAs) - you have to point to which contract this field is for.

If you want to see statuses from all remote issues in broadcast scenario, please create one field for each contract/remote JIRA.
